​Edward Albee's masterpiece returns to the Tumanishvili in a production by Adrian Giurgea. Two couples, one long American night, the slow demolition of every illusion they brought through the door. Beneath the marital war Albee wrote, in 1962, twenty years after the Holocaust, a play about the system that decides which children deserve to be born. What survives the night is not what the marriage invented to sustain itself — it is two damaged people, alive, and still in love.
