The performance is presented as part of the digital theatre festival “MOOZ-ART”, organized by the digital theatre “Avnevi”.
A single decision can place a person on the threshold of an entirely different life. Yet making that decision can often feel like crossing a difficult mountain pass.
What path does a person choose once they have reached safety? Do they leave the past behind, or learn to live alongside it? This is the dilemma confronting the protagonist of the play.
“The Refugees’ Pass” is a story about displacement, memory and the choices that shape our lives — about the difficult journey between leaving the past behind and accepting it as an inseparable part of who we are.
The play is based on motifs from Guram Odisharia’s short story “The Refugees’ Pass.”
