the Different “ Marionette Story

is a marionette production based on the prehistoric short story “He” by the renowned Georgian writer Jemal Karchkhadze.

The story follows a primitive man who becomes the first in his tribe to experience evolution: he straightens his back, looks up at the sky for the first time, begins to think, develops emotions, falls in love, and starts discovering his own inner world.

But these changes frighten those around him — including the tribe’s leader.

The performance runs 35 minutes.

Realistic set designs and human-like puppets together create a magical synthesis of animated film and live theatre.
