This piece of land once belonged to Katsia Sagunashvili, but the village neither used it for the new road nor put it to any other use — it simply abandoned it. Now, without Katsia’s permission, they have decided to build a wooden house on the land for the new priest.
Driven by a sense of injustice, Katsia turns against the village and takes Andria, the instigator of the whole affair, to court before the icon. Yet, while waiting for God’s justice to come too late, Katsia Sagunashvili destroys himself...
This is a story of suffering caused by misplaced expectations.
