✨ Lithuania’s oldest arts institution - the Klaipėda Drama Theatre - is preparing to meet the Georgian audience! As one of the country's leading theatre companies and the organizer of the international theatre festival "TheATRIUM", this year at the festival they will present the play "Some Species of Eagles" by Polish playwright and director Doman Nowakowski.
In the performance, two characters completely different in age and worldview meet in unexpected and intriguing circumstances. One is at the beginning of his life’s journey - full of dreams, youthful maximalism, and idealism. The other is in the twilight of his life, viewing the aspirations and desires of youth through the eyes of a realist after a lifetime of accumulated experience. Having buried his fanciful ideals, he seeks meaning in simpler, earthly things. Will he be able to open the eyes of the romantic young man or convince him that his chosen path is disastrous?
Alongside this struggle, Doman Nowakowski addresses the harmful influence of television and media - their aggressive invasion of the modern consumer's mind through the manipulation of real and perceived values.
