About the Performance | 

In the reality in which we are forced to live today, it is essential that creativity, through its content, become a tool of struggle to bridge the rupture where public opinion is split in two. Georgian identity is often distorted by excessive romanticization, which erodes the foundation of Georgia’s independence and the true essence of its cultural values. The idea of the struggle for freedom must move beyond lofty phraseology and become actively uncompromising—real, genuine, tangible. Our ancestor Maro Makashvili is the clearest example of this: an example of a young Georgian patriot. At first glance, her actions may seem naïve; yet, on the other hand, they are a clear manifesto of powerful love and struggle.
The project is carried out in full compliance with all the guiding principles of the “Biennale College.”
