Description:
Why does a man marry a woman? For love. He meets a woman he likes and decides she is unique and irreplaceable—made only for him, to belong to him forever.
In reality, perhaps he was simply attracted to her neckline, a dress that suited her perfectly, or her hair, which the breeze happened to play with beautifully in that moment. A natural desire awakens in him—to be with her, to see her, to spend a lifetime together. Perhaps the woman feels the same, and they create a family.
The goal seems achieved, the desire fulfilled… until it becomes clear that nothing truly connects them except raw physical attraction. Within a few months, two selfish individuals remain face to face, each seeking only to satisfy their own desires.
Marriage and family reveal themselves as a grand illusion. They deceive each other and themselves, betray one another, and struggle with the impossible balance of fidelity and freedom. This leads to suffering: drinking, self-destruction, harming each other—and sometimes others. What began as love can transform into a personal and shared hell.
