Synopsis:

Love and intrigue are timeless concepts that have accompanied humanity throughout its history, just like betrayal, loyalty, devotion, and baseness.

Friedrich Schiller's immortal drama Intrigue and Love tells the tragic story of the love between Ferdinand, a young aristocrat, and Luise, a girl of more modest social standing.

In this production, director Gocha Kapanadze chooses to speak to the audience precisely about these enduring themes, for a classic remains a classic because it is forever strikingly contemporary, a truth confirmed by Schiller’s entire immortal oeuvre.
