“We praise each other and then, behind each other’s backs, we curse one another. We can hardly wait for someone to stumble so that we can trample over them and crush them without looking back. We write posts about each other, then block one another on Facebook, and when we meet, as if nothing has happened, we greet each other like kind acquaintances. We get on each other’s nerves, yet we smile to each other’s faces. We hate one another and say that we are crazy about each other. We envy one another and refuse to admit it. We want to strangle each other; we want our hatred to be contagious, so that others may hate as we hate one another. We compete with each other in hatred. Three people applaud us, and we think the whole country belongs to us. We keep running in circles and believe that we will escape the enchanted circle. Despite everything, I wanted to become a part of this ‘Georgia’ and say, shout, that people were born in Georgia and never regretted it.”
