About the Performance:
While waiting for true love, a simple companion, or even a one-day romance, a person encounters many adventures.
“Friday” tells the story of this very anticipation.

 

On one Friday evening, in a shared space where different people gather, we observe the unfolding events from a distance—adventures, pain, and joy. This is a story about the constant waiting for that one special person, about how much we prepare ourselves, worry, and often—completely in vain.

About the Theatre:

Theatre Workshop 42 is a new independent theatrical space located in Dighomi, within Tbilisi’s industrial district, at 114 Tsereteli Avenue, on the premises of Factory Tbilisi. Theatre Workshop 42 was founded by Levan Tsuladze.

The theatre’s mission is to develop independent theatrical art through performances, productions, dramaturgy, and co-productions—creating a real platform for the creative industries and integrating them into Tbilisi’s cultural, economic, and social development.

The theatre has a capacity of 264 seats and, in addition to performances, focuses on educational projects and the development of modern technologies. Alongside its completely unique stage and auditorium, the theatre’s foyer is also highly active and attractive, featuring theatrical cafés and exhibition spaces.
