Spanish priest

• As in all comedies of Shakespeare’s era, Joe Fletcher’s The Spanish Priest unfolds two parallel plotlines that eventually intersect. In both storylines, comic characters play an active role.

 

• The cult of personality is exposed so that people may feel relief and breathe freely. Society must know what and whom it believes in, what it has served for decades — truth, justice, or merely “little people.”
