 We present the "Otef Ha Negev Theatre" from Israel with the documentary piece — "A Place to Live".

 

What makes a place a home? What happens when this sense of security is shattered in a single moment, and what happened to our shared home?

 

This is a work born in the aftermath of the October 7 tragedy, created directly from the testimonies of residents living in the communities along the Gaza border. The ensemble includes survivors and evacuees themselves, who have transformed their own trauma and that of their fellow citizens into the language of the stage.

 

Real WhatsApp messages, firsthand testimonies, movement, video art, and live music come together in a performance that portrays the search for the way back home and the profound process of healing the soul.
