The play "Pathetic Monologues" is written by the young writer, playwright, and actor Temo Rekhviashvili. Its action unfolds in a theater, following a familiar scenario. At the funeral of a deceased actor, his colleagues gather at the theater to give speeches, perform scenes from plays, and show films featuring the deceased. Through spoken monologues, the life and work of the main protagonist, the late actor Archil Kiacheli, along with his human concerns and problems, as well as the Georgian theater world, are revealed. The author aims to depict the feelings, thoughts, and everyday life of a person working in the field of culture, outlining the current socio-political situation around us with his characteristic style of narration, which blends humor and eloquence.
