There is a strange village in Georgia where everything and everyone speaks—people, animals, birds, the river, the land, the vegetable garden, and even the statue standing in the square. Nikala and Tamta, who live in this village, fall in love and have a grand wedding, but the very next day, war breaks out, and Nikala is forced to leave for battle on the same day.
This play was written and staged in honor of Niko Gomelauri. It was his final role, which he performed five times. The play has become immensely popular and has been performed at the "Free Theater" for many years, consistently drawing full houses of spectators moved to tears.
We highly recommend watching this beautiful melodrama, which promises to bring you great enjoyment.
