URBAN MANIFESTO Words That Connect Us

 

“Urban Manifesto” is a new intimate performance where poetry, music and live conversation come together to form a single story. Individual lines, thoughts and intonations are woven together, stitch by stitch, into a story about being human, about love and the way each of us hears something different in the very same words.

 

The words and music at the heart of “Urban Manifesto” were first heard in Tbilisi this July. Now, they return in a new form, coming together as a theatrical work on the stage of the Griboyedov Theatre.  The story will unfold gradually, and no two people will experience it in quite the same way. Each of us brings our own experiences, memories, thoughts and emotions to it.

 

“Urban Manifesto” is a performance about people who keep searching for one another, for themselves and for their own way of staying alive amid the noise of the city. Because “If it isn’t good, it isn’t the end yet.”

 

At the centre of “Urban Manifesto” are Viktor Zhylinkov and Ksenia Mitrofanova.

 

Viktor is the author of the poetry and music, the founder of APMG Group, and someone who continues to search, to feel, and to speak about what truly matters.

 

Ksenia is an actress, director, and educator with extensive experience in theatre and film.

 

A graduate of the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy, she is the founder and director of N SCHOOL in Dubai.
