“Urban Manifesto” is more than a poetry evening. It is an attempt to see ourselves and the world without the filters we have grown accustomed to.

 

We live in an age where there are more words than ever, yet less and less meaning behind them. Where love is reduced to clichés, happiness is measured in photographs, and we often lack the courage to answer life's most important questions —even when we ask them of ourselves.

 

“Urban Manifesto” invites us into a different kind of conversation.

 

It is a new kind of poetry, where philosophy meets everyday life, irony meets vulnerability, and ordinary human stories confront the fundamental questions of our existence.

 

Who are we, really? Why are we afraid to be ourselves? What remains of a person when their roles, achievements and masks are stripped away? And why, surrounded by millions of people, do we sometimes find it so difficult to truly hear one another?

 

There will be no ready-made answers, no moral lectures, and no attempts to tell you how to live your life.

 

Instead, expect original poetry, live dialogue, unexpected ideas, humour, a touch of provocation, and music by Mikael Tariverdiev.

 

This is a conversation about love and loneliness, freedom and fear, growing older and mortality. About what makes us human, even when we are desperately trying to be someone else.

 

We don't expect to change the world in a single evening. But perhaps, afterwards, you'll see your own world a little differently.

On stage - Viktor Zhylinkov and Ksenia Mitrofanova:

- Viktor Zhylinkov — author of poetry and music, owner of the APMG Group of Companies, and a person who continues to search, feel, and speak about what matters.
 

- Ksenia Mitrofanova — actress, director, and educator; a graduate of the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy; founder and director of N SCHOOL in Dubai.
 

This is not an evening where someone simply reads poetry to you. It is an evening that challenges everything you thought you knew.
