The Nylon Christmas Tree

On New Year’s Eve, a group of strangers find themselves travelling together on an intercity bus, each hoping to reach their destination in time for the holiday. However, a series of unexpected obstacles and delays turns their journey into an increasingly tense and absurd experience. As the passengers interact, their individual personalities, frustrations, and hopes come to the surface.

Directed by Rezo Esadze, The Nylon Christmas Tree is a dramatic comedy that captures the everyday absurdities of Soviet life through a diverse cast of characters, blending humour with social observation and a sense of unease. The journey becomes a reflection of a society marked by disorder, uncertainty, and the struggle to get through ordinary life.
