Tbilisi Hip-Hop Festival

On October 17, Factory Tbilisi will host the first-ever Tbilisi Hip-Hop Festival. The event will bring together various forms of urban culture—music, street dance, and visual art—in one expansive space.

🎧 LINEUP

Talib Kweli — A Brooklyn legend and a core figure of conscious hip-hop for the past 25 years. Famous for his iconic project with Mos Def (Black Star), he remains one of the genre’s most authentic and electrifying live performers.

FLOHIO — A standout voice of the new-wave UK rap scene from South London. Rather than separating grime, rap, and electronic music into distinct genres, she channels them into one continuous, high-energy stream.

TAHA — A leading figure in modern Georgian hip-hop. An MC whose expressive, high-energy delivery has earned the unconditional support of the new generation.

Kay G — The voice of Tbilisi that you recognize from the very first beat: unhurried, confident, and sharp. Keeping the energy alive in the low frequencies—right where the acoustics demand you turn the volume up.

Mush One — There is hip-hop born in the city, and hip-hop that arrives there. Beats first, lyrics second—this golden rule never changes with Mush One. Boom Bap aesthetics merge with jazz-hop vibes, pulling you into his world with lyrical precision.

 

SHOWCASES

Sioni Hi-Fi Soundsystem — Hip-hop roots trace directly back to Jamaican sound system culture. The first Georgian soundsystem will bring this tradition and authentic sound to life.

Red Bull Dance Your Style - Street Dance Showcase — This is not a standard competition; it is an improvisational show with no predefined choreography or limits.

Graffiti Battle — The ultimate platform for street art and urban aesthetics. The event brings artists together to create large-scale visual pieces live in front of the audience.

 

CULTURE ZONE

📸 "50 Iconic Moments of Hip-Hop History" — A photo exhibition bringing half a century of the genre's evolution, turning points, and iconic shots to life.

🎬 Film Screening Area — A dedicated cinema space running all day, screening standout Georgian and international documentaries and feature films focused on hip-hop culture.
