On April 28, at the Rustaveli National Theatre, SPARKS presents a concert by one of the most popular bands among Georgian listeners — the band “URSA.”
The band “URSA” was founded in 2010 at the Georgian Technical University. From the day of its establishment, the group has been actively involved in various cultural events held across the country. URSA held its first solo concert in 2011, where the band’s main musical direction and program were formed. To this day, the group continues to perform actively and independently both in Georgia and abroad.
With a unique performance style that blends traditional folklore with modern sound, distinctive vocal harmonies, creative arrangements of the panduri and other instruments, and strong stage energy, URSA strives to create high-quality music — all of which has established them as one of the successful bands in the Georgian music scene.
The band chose its name after the Khevsurian combat weapon “Ursa.”
