International Festival of Art Opens in Gurjaani
The Gurjaani International Art Festival is set to take place from June 19 to June 21, 2026, in the city of Gurjaani. This grand cultural event will officially open with a celebratory ceremony on June 19. Maestro Nika Nikvashvili serves as the festival's artistic and musical director. The events are scheduled over three days and will offer the public a rich and diverse program.
On June 19, the opening night of the festival will be entirely dedicated to Georgian folklore, featuring performances by local creative ensembles. The gala concert will showcase the "Gurjaani" Folk Ensemble, the "Gurjaani" Choreographic Ensemble, the "Tseruli" Choreographic Ensemble, the "Gurjaani" Children's Folk Choir, the L. Mugalashvili Chant and Folk Singing School, the Unified Choir of Gurjaani Music Schools, and the "Hangebi" Children's Folk Ensemble.
The Gurjaani International Arts Festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, LEPL Creative Georgia, the Gurjaani Municipality City Hall, and the Gurjaani Culture Center.
