On January 19, the band Frani returns to its hometown, Kutaisi, 20 years later, to share their much-missed songs with the audience at the Lado Meskhishvili State Drama Theatre.
The band Frani was formed in 2005 as a collaboration between two singer-songwriters, Shota Zakaraia and Gaga Chikhladze. They introduced a fresh voice to the Georgian music industry and quickly gained popularity among listeners of all ages. Their style is dominated by a fusion of Georgian urban music, folk, rock, reggae, and alternative genres. Their lyrics sincerely convey human emotions, love, freedom, and, as the band members themselves say, “simply flying in the sky.”
Over the years, the band has performed dozens of solo concerts and released numerous singles.
