Erisioni - Georgian Treasure

On October 30, at the Tbilisi Sports Palace, the State Academic Ensemble of Georgian Song and Dance, “Erisioni,” will present its spectacular new show program, “Georgian Treasure.”

 

Over the course of an hour and a half, the audience will have the opportunity to experience vocal pieces that have never before been included in the ensemble’s repertoire. These newly introduced musical works have been developed over an extended period by Erisioni’s Artistic Director and choirmaster.

 

The program will also feature new choreographic works, including traditional pieces researched and brought to the stage by the ensemble’s Principal Choreographer.

 

“Georgian Treasure” brings together the unique musical and choreographic traditions that define “Erisioni” with contemporary stage interpretations. Audiences can expect an extraordinary synthesis of Georgian song and dance, tradition, cultural heritage, and modern stage artistry.
