David Arthur Skinner is a British/Norwegian jazz pianist based in Oslo, with a 25-year international career including concerts across Europe and six tours of Japan. A specialist in solo piano, his music is rooted in early jazz traditions and shaped by a strong classical influence. He runs the monthly swing jazz night Café Society (est. 2019) with support from the Norwegian Arts Council and leads the swing band Jazzombies, a long-time favourite at Norway’s Winter Jump festival. Skinner was a founder and producer of the first Oslo Swingjazz Festival in 2025. He is Assistant Professor in Applied Piano at the Norwegian Academy of Music.

Hayden Powell is an Oslo-based trumpet player known for jazz and improvisation-focused music. He is also a teacher at the Norwegian Academy of Music, alongside his work as a band leader, composer, and arranger. As a band leader, he has released five albums. He has appeared as a sideman on more than 30 recordings with artists including Eyolf Dale, Espen Berg, Natacha Atlas, Solfrid Molland, and Iro Haarla. In 2024, he released an album with a new sextet blending jazz, improvisation, folk, and early music influences.
