They are teenagers. They are in love. And they have decided to live without their parents.
What begins as a private rebellion gradually exposes a world where violence is passed down from one generation to the next, silence becomes the rule, and adults know very well how to protect themselves.
THE ROMANTICS unfolds between the noise of school corridors and the silence of the family home. Here, Romantic poetry collides with teenage slang, while the language of love, beauty, and heroism takes on an entirely different meaning in a world ruled by inequality, hatred, and fear.
THE ROMANTICS is an anti-romantic black comedy about children, parents, and the inheritance one generation leaves to the next.
